Important information
Please read the National Vetting Bureau user guide before completing the eVetting form.
National Vetting Bureau mandatory questions
There are two mandatory questions on the National Vetting Bureau eVetting portal form which must be answered correctly, or your application will be rejected. The questions are:
1. Other than the Republic of Ireland have you lived in any EU state or in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?
If you answered Yes to this question you must list the address(es) where you have lived in the EU state or in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
If you have answered No to this question you must not list any addresses where you have lived in the EU state or in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
The National Vetting Bureau will reject your application if you answer these questions incorrectly.
2. Does this role involve working with children?
You must answer yes to this question.
As you are applying for registration you must apply to the National Vetting Bureau (NVB) for a vetting disclosure. If you tick No to this question the NVB will reject your application, and you cannot continue with your application for registration or renewal of registration (re-vetting).
- If you lived in Northern Ireland, you will need to enter full postcodes (six characters) for each Northern Ireland address.
